Lindsey Buckingham was publicly fired from Fleetwood Mac in 2018 and Mick Fleetwood has been adamant that Buckingham would not return to the band. In early 2020, the band’s co-founder said he would never meet with Buckingham after bringing Mike Campbell from Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers and Neil Finn from Crowded House to replace him on a Mac Fleetwood tour.
