Treyarch increases penalties for friendly fire and players who give up in the middle of the match.
ICYMI, Black Ops Cold War League is “escalating game penalties” suspensions for players who often give up or enter friendly fire.
We have already detailed many of the major changes that came with the release of Season 2 Reloaded earlier this week, but Treyarch also confirmed that it is doubling its efforts to contain the chaos caused by griefers and players who have given up.
“With the new additions of Apocalypse Hardpoint and Express S&D to the League Play rotation, we are constantly working on more ways to improve the competitive experience,” explained the studio in a recent update. “We heard recent comments about the Wildcard selection and agreed: we want players to commit to a style of play in the League.
“We have also added new game suspension penalties for players who give up in the middle of a game or engage in friendly shots to ensure a better competitive experience for all players,” the statement continues, concluding that participants will have to “play well or paying the price “as” the penalties will increase with various offenses “.
