“Today I finished my training of Doula da Morte, in the Midwifery Training Course of the Art of Death by @sacred_crossings, so I think I’m almost a certified death doula now hehe”, said the caption. “And I felt like writing a deep thanks to this community that is teaching and training people in the conscious work of death and death.”
The doulas of death help those who are dying and their loved ones to navigate the process.
Keough and his brother are the children of Lisa Marie Presley and musician Danny Keough. Her maternal grandparents are Elvis and Priscilla Presley.
His sister wrote in his caption “We are taught that it is a morbid subject to talk about. Or we were so afraid of him that we cannot talk about it … so of course it happens to us, and we are very sick prepared.”
“I think it is just as important to be educated about conscious death and death as we are educated about conscious birth and childbirth,” she wrote. “We have prepared ourselves so rigorously for entry and we are not prepared for our exit. For that I am very grateful for this community and for being able to contribute with what I can ”.
