In a press release, Krispy Kreme also said that he plans to support healthcare professionals and volunteers who are administering vaccines, delivering free donuts to vaccination centers across the country in the coming weeks. To continue encouraging the company’s safety, it is also giving employees up to four hours of paid time off to get the vaccine.

“We all want COVID-19 to support us as quickly as possible and we want to support everyone who does their part to make the country safe by being vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said marketing director Dave Skena, in a statement.

Several companies, including Tyson, Target, Aldi, Trader Joe’s and McDonald’s are offering similar policies. Some companies are giving employees a paid break to get your vaccines.

The US has already managed more 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to more than 35 million fully vaccinated Americans – 10.5% of the total US population.

Biden’s administration now estimates that it will have enough doses available for each adult in May. Experts hope that clinical trials in adolescents and children will make some vaccines available to adolescents by the fall and younger children in early 2022.
