Philia and Strea will soon join Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris according to a new trailer. Bandai Namco also provided a new key art, details about the 1.5 game update and announced a new DLC package called “Mysotis”. [Thanks, Twinfinite!]
Both new companions are available for use in the content update 1.5 and will remain usable through future updates. Philia has already appeared in another ARE games including Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, Sword Art Online: Lost song, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet as one of the main heroines. Strea, in turn, was a main character in Sword Art Online: Hollow Shard and Sword Arte Online: Infinite Moment. Both characters used different avatars in the games. THE Lycoris Alicization versions use their avatars of Hollow fragment.
A new series of story missions launched in Lycoris Alicization with the Ancient Apostles: the Reaper of the Woods add-on. Update 1.3 contained a second mission from the Ancient Apostles called The Knight of Contradictions. Each of the add-ons has a past Sword Art Online heroin. The series will continue with future updates.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. A game demo allows players to experience the first chapter.
