Prince William still misses Prince Harry a year after Megxit: report

Prince William still misses his brother, Prince Harry, a year after Megxit, according to a new profile of the heir to the throne of Britain.

“After he overcame his anger at how things went, he was left with his brother’s absence,” an aide told the UK’s Sunday Times.

“They shared everything about their lives, an office, a foundation, meetings on most days and there was a lot of fun along the way,” added the advisor, who was not identified.

“He will be missed forever.”

With Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle moving to California and renouncing real life, Prince William feels he is doomed to face the future forever as the next king of Britain without his brother by his side, friends of the duke told the Times.

Prince William “definitely feels the pressure now that everything is on him – his future looks different because of his brother’s choices, it is not easy”. a friend told the newspaper.

“It’s still raw,” agreed another friend, who also declined to be identified.

“He is very upset about what happened, although it is absolutely decided that he and Harry’s relationship will heal over time.”

Prince Harry also regretted the fight.

“I love William in pieces,” he said last week. “We have been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”

The brothers will have several chances to see each other in person this summer, noted the Times profile.

The Duke of Edinburgh will turn 100 in June; a statue of Princess Diana will open in July at Kensington Palace, marking her 60th birthday, the newspaper said.
