It’s been almost 20 years since the romantic comedy classic 13 Going on 30 was released, and new details are still coming out.
Jennifer Garner, who played Jenna Rink in the 2004 comedy, was promoting her new movie on Netflix, Yes Day with The Skimm, when she was asked about her favorite memory of the film.
She revealed that while rehearsing the film’s iconic dance number, her co-star Mark Ruffalo was so frustrated that he almost gave up on the film.

‘We started to learn to dance. Our first rehearsal, I think it was Mark and Judy (Greer) and me, ‘Garner started.
‘Judy and I were dancers growing up, and poor Mark didn’t know that and he came and hated the rehearsal process so much that he almost gave up on the film,’ said Garner with a laugh.
Still, Ruffalo stood his ground, and 13 Going on 30 was to become a beloved classic.
