A slow start to his career in the NFL is not frightening potential N’Keal Harry suitors.
The New England Patriots wideout, which is about to enter its third season in the NFL, did not live up to its spot in the first round draft. And while the Patriots reshape the attack – so far, supposedly, agreeing to deals with tight ends Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry, as well as Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor – it looks like Harry may be being eliminated.
Last week, it was reported that the Patriots were receiving calls from other teams about Harry. And while New England continues on its wave of free agency spending ESPN Josh Weinfuss reported that at least three teams are in the mix for Harry.
“With the Patriots agreeing to a deal with WR Nelson Agholor, I wouldn’t be surprised if they switched N’Keal Harry soon,” wrote Weinfuss. “There are at least three teams at the moment. More may come soon, too. “
Now, whether or not that means that the Patriots are really going to turn 23, it remains to be seen. Regardless, it looks like the door is ajar for the Patriots to give the Arizona state product a new start elsewhere.
