Playism and developer Nocras revealed Tasomachi: Behind Twilight will come to the PC via Steam. The announcement was made during Game Dev Direct on March 13, 2021. The title is a 3D platform game inspired by the culture of the Far East, developed by a background artist in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Tasomachi: Behind Twilight will be released on PC via Steam in the spring of 2021.
Described as a laid-back 3D platform game, players will explore the world, collect items and cycle through the platform sections in Tasomachi: Behind Twilight. Players will take control of Yukumo, whose aircraft crashes and lands in a mysterious city where she will have to hunt for resources. Yukumo will collect items to repair and upgrade his ship, then fly through the skies and explore the world. Check out the screenshots and a title trailer below.
Enthusiastic fans will recognize that the art direction in this title bears a resemblance to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The reason for this is the developer of Tasomachi: Behind Twilight provided 2D art and production art for the Nintendo title. In addition, the developer Nocras was a background artist in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, provided conceptual art for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and worked on the design of the field map to Pokémon Sword and Shield. Published by Playism, this will be Nocras’ first independent game.
Tasomachi: Behind Twilight will be released in the spring of 2021 on the PC via Steam. The title will support text in Japanese, English and Chinese.
