Bill Maher delivered again on Friday night, with blunt criticism from America … a “silly country”, he says, especially when compared to China.
The presenter of ‘Real Time’ dissected the American psyche … a country that is now obsessed with Dr. Suess’ books. In contrast, he notes that China could not give “a crouching tiger, flying the fuck” because they are not “silly people”.
The reference to “foolish people” comes from “Lawrence of Arabia”, but Bill said the nickname fits like a glove in the US of A.

Maher admits that China does a lot of “bad things”, but then slows down the boom, complaining, “We all know that China does bad things” … but there must be something between a totalitarian government that knows what to do and a representative government that can do nothing ”.
He is not finished. Bill divides the country into 2 groups – half of the US is concerned about Mr. Potato Head has ad ***, and the other half is obsessed with crazy conspiracy theories.
But, wait – there’s more. Bill goes after the movement for equity rather than merit in college admissions, and while he’s on the subject, he makes reference to some classes full of silly students … The Philosophy of Star Trek at Indiana State University, The Sociology of Seinfeld on SUNY Oswego and Surviving the coming zombie apocalypse in Michigan.
Foolish people.
