CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – The high pressure will remain under control for the next few days, leading to a lot of sun. The temperatures this afternoon will rise to almost 80 degrees, sunny and warm! Saturday will be very sunny and the maximum will be in the mid 70’s. The chances of rain increase a little from the second half of the weekend until next week, with a cold front approaching. Still hot on Sunday, despite more clouds, the highs will again be in the mid-70s with a light rain. The front will be closer to the area early next week, bringing more clouds and some rain. Not expecting a fall and nothing seems quite irregular, the maxims will be in their 70s to start the week. Another front will approach Lowcountry from mid to end of next week.
