Wingard says the film will be split between “Team Kong” – which consists of Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall and Kaylee Hottle – and “Team Godzilla” – which features Millie Bobby Brown, Julian Dennison and Brian Tyree Henry. Kong’s team sees the huge ape as humanity’s last chance against a furious Godzilla, while Godzilla’s team is trying to discover the reason behind the Monster King’s sudden malevolent turn. “We have always seen the film as being separate between Team Godzilla and Team Kong, and it was exciting for me to make this film,” continued Wingard.

The featurette ends with the cast offering their opinions on who would win the monster mash, although Hall said, “I’m not choosing sides.” Wingard himself made it very clear that Godzilla vs. Kong will have a definitive winner and that he knows who would win since the second series.

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry. The film hits theaters and HBO Max on March 31.
