Prince Charles is reportedly “lost” with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
A friend of the 72-year-old man told Royal author and Vanity Fair correspondent Katie Nicholl that the Prince of Wales did not have the heart to attend the meeting, which was attended by almost 50 million people worldwide.

According to Nicholl, Charles is aware of the shocking accusations that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made during the television interview, which aired for the first time on Sunday.

“As Vanity Fair reported on Sunday, Harry was sending an email to his father to justify why he and Meghan had done the interview,” wrote Nicholl. “Charles said he was ‘in a state of despair’, according to a friend.”
A royal representative did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.
Charles did not speak about the couple’s interview during a visit to a vaccine clinic in London on Tuesday. The visit was the Prince of Wales’s first public appearance since the meeting and came amid growing pressure on Buckingham Palace to respond to the accusations.
Soon afterwards, Buckingham Palace issued a 60-word statement.
