The Google Search stock card looks modernized on the desktop

Google offers a dedicated finance portal that shows news, as well as graphs and other trend data. That said, most users are content to insert stock symbols in Search to find the stock price, with Google recently revamping the desktop experience.

As with the weather in the past month, the stock card on Google Search has changed slightly. The same principles of organization and placement are in effect with the current price listed in the upper left corner, while the stock symbol (and where it is listed) is on the right. This new Search design language is defined by immediately showing what people are looking for.

Underneath it, in green or red, is the recent movement and when it closed, as well as the current after-hours price.

The graph has been modified so that the tabs for different time increments use components of the Material Theme. Finally, the information that appears below has not been changed, but is now organized into three columns for easy reading.

This redesign of the Google Search desktop stock card is widely implemented.
