Packers receive three compensatory draft choices in 2021 draft

The Green Bay Packers received three compensatory draft choices on Wednesday.

The team will now have 10 choices in the total draft in the 2021 draft of the NFL.

As a result of the loss of three different free agents last season, the Packers received a compensatory choice in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.

The three choices:

Fourth round, No. 143 overall
Fifth round, No. 178 overall
Sixth round, No. 220 overall

The Packers lost linebacker Blake Martinez, offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga and edge rusher Kyler Fackrell at the free agency last March, creating the three compensatory choices.

Packers now have their original choice in all seven rounds, plus three compensatory choices. They will have several choices in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.

This is the first year that Packers have received a compensatory withdrawal selection since 2019.

The Packers received the highest compensatory draft choice in the fifth round, as a result of Bulaga’s defeat.
