
MADISON, Wis. – The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Wisconsin increased 463 on Tuesday, March 9, Wisconsin Department of Health Services officials reported, to a total of 567,334.
There were 6,510 deaths in the state, with 29 new deaths reported by state health officials on Tuesday.

Of the positive cases, 26,554 required hospitalization (4.7%), while 554,113 recovered (97.7%), making 6,552 active cases (1.2%).
More than 2.6 million had a negative test. More than 3.2 million have been tested.

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, DHS officials reported on Tuesday, March 9, that 1,739,995 doses were administered. To date, 2,140,265 doses have been allocated to Wisconsin.
