It’s been months since Jonathan Toews caught the public’s attention – since the end of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2020, we haven’t seen the Captain of the Blackhawks around the team in any way. After citing an unspecified illness in December, he was kept out of the training camp and has not yet been with the team this season.
But on Tuesday night, Jonathan Toews appeared by his teammate and longtime friend, Patrick Kane.

An eye candy, huh?
Great to see Toews after he was away from the team for so long. The cloud of uncertainty around him and his health will not be dispelled with this single video, but it is refreshing to see him looking and looking healthy.
Toews would be next in line to play 1,000 games with the Blackhawks after Kane, having played 943 regular season games in his career with the Blackhawks.
Toews ends his video message to Kane by saying, “I wanted to be there to celebrate with you. See you soon, man. “
