Nintendo’s new Mario-themed switch is back in stock at several stores

“MAR10 Day” is tomorrow, but several retailers have already started the festivities, making more stock available for the limited-edition Nintendo Switch based on the mustache plumber.

The Nintendo Switch Mario Red & Blue Edition was launched last month, but it has been hard to find since its launch. Now it is back in stock at several retailers, including Best Buy and GameStop. Sold at retail for $ 300, which is the normal price for Nintendo’s hybrid console, the Limited Edition Switch features a fully red console, a red dock, a pair of red Joy-Cons, a red coating around the screen and a blue Joy -Con grip. The console also includes a screen protector and a special carrying case at no additional cost.

At Best Buy, the retailer dropped the prices of a handful of games published by Nintendo for the Switch, such as Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Super Mario Maker 2; only physical cartridges were discounted.

Walmart has a Best Buy of equal price, but the retailer has more games available and the option to buy a digital or physical copy. Now, if you plan to take advantage of these offerings, you can use all of the Switch’s limited internal storage. Fortunately, SanDisk’s 200 GB microSD card is available for $ 22 at Newegg.

The Nintendo Switch comes with 32 GB of internal storage, which won’t get you very far when it comes to downloading games. Adding a 200 GB microSD card is a smart and relatively affordable way to increase your storage.

Speaking of Nintendo Switch accessories, if you prefer to use the Switch in portable mode, but don’t want to spend $ 70 on a new pair of Joy-Cons, the best alternative is the Hori Split Pad Pro controller. Usually $ 50, you can buy this controller for $ 40 on Amazon and Walmart. Most notably, this accessory includes a real directional pad and, more importantly, these controllers are bigger and more comfortable to use.

Hori takes control of the Nintendo Switch Pro, but divides into two distinct parts. Split Pad Pro is a good Joy-Con alternative for people who mainly play their Nintendo Switch in portable mode.
