Quarterbacks in general are one of the greatest Gamecocks football stories to follow on TheBigSpur.
And there have been many twists and turns in the past three months or more. Trainer Shane Beamer he lost his first offensive coordinator and coach of defenders, then hired another. South Carolina fans were forced to bid farewell to their commitment to the 2022 quarterback before three more potential customers were introduced to the conversation. The Gamecocks team also pulled the trigger on offers to two potential customers in the 2023 and 2024 cycles.
But that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Ryan Hilinski entered the transfer portal and Collin Hill declined his super senior opportunity. Colten Gauthier signed up and later joined San Francisco transfer Jason Brown.
Like Beamer, Marcus Satterfield and the rest of South Carolina’s offensive trust team hit the reset button in their search for a 2022 quarterback, let’s take a look at some of the events related to that position that led us to the second week of March. There will be much more to track as recruitment continues and spring training begins later this month.
