The game will run at 720p in docked mode and 576p in portable mode, with both modes offering 30 frames per second (Apex Legends on existing platforms runs at 60 FPS in comparison). Players will be able to use gyroscopic sights in mobile mode, and the UI has been adjusted to lighten up close.It has also been revealed that cross-game play between Nintendo Switch players and other platforms is an optional feature that can be disabled if players only want to match users on the same console.
Given that console and PC players will have a higher frame rate and a better resolution to play, this will undoubtedly raise questions about how players on other platforms can have an advantage over the Nintendo Switch player base, so turn off the cross game can benefit some Swap players ..
The interview adds that the Apex Legends engine is the same as the console and PC version, but support for the Switch was integrated into it by the Panic Button team, who took care of the door.
