Two are required (Xbox Series X | S)Two are required (Xbox Series X | S)

Editor: Electronic Arts / Developer: Hazelight

Release date of: March 26, 2021 (UK / EU)

An outlet redefined what a cooperative game could do, using a prison as a central setting and focusing on two characters who planned to break free and get their lives back. Two follows a similar pattern of play, but this time creating a cheerful story based on a couple, arriving on March 26th. The genre-changing gameplay looks much more visceral than A Way Out, with platforms, boss battles and puzzles to solve. Honestly, it looks very charming and has the potential to be a surprise success in 2021.

MLB The Show 21 (Xbox Series X | S)MLB The Show 21 (Xbox Series X | S)

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 ... (Xbox One)NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 ... (Xbox One)

Editor: Square Enix / Developer: Toylogic

Release date of: April 23, 2021 (UK / EU)

NieR: automata is a masterpiece, there is no doubt about it, and NieR replicator it seems to take the gameplay that defined the automata and infuse it into a remake of the original on April 23. Technically, the remake is a remake of a reworked version of the original, but going down the rabbit hole leads to confusion, so let’s say that – NieR Replicant seems to be one of the most action-packed RPGs to hit the Xbox family this year and we can hardly wait to revisit the original within the Automata engine.

Trial (Xbox Series X | S)Trial (Xbox Series X | S)

Editor: SEGA / Developer: SEGA

Release date of: April 23, 2021 (USA)

As if having the entire Yakuza series on Xbox wasn’t enough, SEGA decided to bring Judgment for the Xbox Series X. Although the game is still set in the same universe, it follows a different path, as players control a detective who solves a series of murders. It’s a different tone, but just as good as any of the other entries. Complete with refined visuals, 60 frames per second and faster load times – this is the definitive version of the game.

Hood: Outlaws and Legends (Xbox Series X | S)Hood: Outlaws and Legends (Xbox Series X | S)

Editor: Focus Home Interactive / Developer: Digital Juice

If you’ve ever looked at Robin Hood and thought he was begging for an online multiplayer game, then you’re in luck. Hood: Outlaws and Legends takes the classic Sherwood tale and puts his own four-on-four spin on it. Resident Evil Village (Xbox Series X | S)Resident Evil Village (Xbox Series X | S)

Editor: Capcom / Developer: Capcom

Release date of: May 7, 2021 (UK / EU)

Looks like resident Evil series is returning to annual entries, with the previous two seeing a remake of Resident Evil 2 and 3, but we are not complaining. Since Resident Evil VII acted as a smooth restart of the series, things improved and Villa it looks grotesque, disturbing and scary in all the right ways. Returning to the first-person aspect of VII, the action will have players staring at threats from horrible zombies that roam the streets. Take us back to the scare now!

Biomutant (Xbox One)Biomutant (Xbox One)

Editor: THQ Nordic / Developer: Experience 101

Release date of: May 25, 2021 (USA)

There is probably no other game on this list that looks as strange and unique as Biomutant, and that’s one of the reasons why we love it. In the game, you control a mutant animal in a world full of creatures. As an open-world RPG, you’ll complete quests, level up your character, and explore a wide variety of environments. It looks crazy and somewhat refreshing between strings and familiar IPs.
