Entombed AD leader LG Petrov has died – Kerrang!

Entombed AD made the tragic announcement that vocalist Lars-Göran Petrov has passed away.

LG was diagnosed with ‘incurable ‘bile duct cancer last year, stating that “cannot be removed ”, but that doctors were “trying to control with chemotherapy ”. Today (March 8), his bandmates posted a statement to say that the musician unfortunately died last night.

“We are devastated to announce that our dear friend Lars-Göran Petrov has left us ”, they write.

“Our brother, leader, vocalist, our Rebel Chief Angel took another walk last night. It is with the deepest sadness that we must announce that Lars-Göran Petrov has left us. He was (is !!!) an incredible friend, and a person who touched so many people. He changed so many lives with his voice, his music, his character and his unique personality. LGThe smile is something that we will carry forever in our hearts.
