New Assassin’s Creed rumor sheds light on the launch of the next generation

One new Assassin’s Creed rumors shed light on the next entry in the series. Last November, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla released for PS5 and Xbox Series X along with next-generation consoles and PC. However, although it was available on PS5 and Xbox Series X, it was far from a suitable next generation. Assassin’s Creed games. That said, according to rumors that have circulated in recent months, the next chapter in the series will be more like a next generation Assassin’s Creed experience.

The latest rumor about the next Assassin’s Creed The game doesn’t dive into any of these talking points, but says that Ubisoft Sofia is in charge of the game’s development. For those who don’t know: Ubisoft Sofia isn’t exactly one of Ubisoft’s main studios, but it led the development of Assassin Creed series in the past through Assassin’s Creed Rogue and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation. As you may know, none of these games have been very well received, especially compared to some other entries in the franchise.

Furthermore, the rumor – which comes in the form of Assassin’s Creed leaker j0nathan (by Reddit) – doesn’t reveal much else, but it’s not the only rumor going around. As noted, other rumors have been circulating recently, although all have come from anonymous sources. That said, a cross line between many of them is that this may be a smaller game, or in other words, something more like Release and On its own instead of other entries like black Flag, Origins, or Odyssey. And that would make sense if Ubisoft Sofia were the main developer.

That said, it is important to remember that all of this information is not official and should be viewed with caution. At the time of publication, Ubisoft did not address any of the information above and probably will not, but if it does, we will be sure to update the article with everything it has to say.
