Jenna Dewan celebrates the first birthday of her “rainbow baby” Callum while “thanks the universe” for her son
Jenna Dewan learned she was pregnant with her first child, a son, by fiance Steve Kazee in the summer of 2019.
And on Saturday, the 40-year-old actress happily celebrated the first birthday of her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum, whom she welcomed into the world in March 2020.
To mark the occasion, Jenna uploaded a lovely snapshot next to Callum on Instagram that showed him posing next to a photo of him when he was a newborn.

‘I cut half the frame while taking this photo because I was so impressed …!’ she explained about the image in the caption of her post.
‘The fact that this little baby angel is a year old today is astonishing me.’
In the photo, Callum looked adorable dressed in tan overalls as he sat in front of his crib at the Los Angeles home that Jenna shares with her handsome fiance.
‘Callum, you came into this world and changed it the instant you were here … you brought with you pure joy, pure love and a little spark of the divine that I have a feeling you will never leave,’ the mother of two children gushed.
The Step Up star started writing about how her son brought everyone around her ‘like the bright sun’, in which everyone is happy to ‘enjoy’ all day.

‘It is an absolute gift and an honor to be your mother.’
With COVID-19 still very dangerous, Dewan apologized for not being able to have a suitable birthday for Callum.
‘I also feel that this is part of his magic … showing all of us how amazing it is to slow down, focus on what matters and be together as a family.’
She ended up gushing about how she, Kazee and their daughter Everly, which she shares with ex-husband and actor Channing Tatum, ‘I thank the universe for you every day and we love you in addition to our little rainbow baby !!! ‘

Dewan also shares a photo of his ‘rainbow baby’ sitting on his father’s lap, and another of him crawling on the floor with six rainbow emojis hovering beside him.
To end her story on Instagram, Jenna uploaded a boomerang video of herself lifting her right arm triumphantly in a cut white T-shirt.
‘And I believe that mothers should celebrate on the day of their children’s BIRTH too …!’ she added a caption to the image before adding: ‘We are all Wonder Women’.
A ‘rainbow baby’ is a term often used to describe a child born in a family who previously had a miscarriage or loss of pregnancy.
