Katharine McPhee is to love the life of the mother.
THE american idol student welcomed her first child with her husband David Foster on February 24th. Now, the star is showing how happy she is with her new role in her Instagram story.
In a photo of her holding her son in a sling, the Smash the actress wrote: “In case you’re wondering, I love being a mother.” She even included some crying emojis to show how excited she was about her new motherhood status.
Katharine and David, who have five other children and seven grandchildren, were married in 2019. E! News reports reported that the two were expecting their first child together in October last year.
A source from the couple shared that both the mother and father were thrilled to embark on the journey of parenthood together.
“Katharine, David and the baby are all doing very well,” said the source on March 4. “Katharine is so excited that the baby has finally arrived. She had long hoped to be a mother and could not be happier that the time has come. “
