President Biden criticized Texas Governor Greg Abbott for loosening restrictions on coronavirus, calling it “Neanderthal thinking”, but Biden is the one who released 108 positive COVID migrants to the state, noted “Hannity” host Sean Hannity on Wednesday.
“According to Joe Biden, only one Neanderthal would lift COVID’s restrictions on Americans,” said Hannity. “Well, Joe, you are asking people to come in and they are not distancing themselves socially and they are not wearing masks. And many of them, we now know, have COVID.”
The host said he hoped the president would make an “extra” effort to cover borders and prevent the spread of COVID-19 as the pandemic progresses. However, Biden did the exact opposite.
“You better wear your mask and hide in the basement, but illegal immigrants?

The president also considered Texas’s lifting of restrictions to be a “big mistake”, although the reopening will allow small businesses and struggling Texans to regain normalcy after a year in the blockade.

“Let’s all clear this up … illegal immigrants, they can cross our southern border, without masks, without social distance, without a COVID test, nothing,” said Hannity. “But American companies need to be closed indefinitely. It doesn’t make sense.”

If Biden were really so concerned about the health of his countrymen, Hannity asked, would he not institute full background checks at the border to ensure that those who cross are well enough to be active contributors to the community?
“Perhaps you are sure that people are able to support themselves so that they do not take the jobs of the 17 million Americans unemployed because of the pandemic.”
