Here are the full patch notes for Dead By Daylight PTB 2021 Chapter 19 4.6.0 Update.
The next chapter in Dead by Daylight has been in the midst of rumors for quite some time. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the update, especially due to the fact that it will mark the arrival of a new assassin and survivor in the game.
After tinkering with the next chapter for quite a while, Behavior Interactive finally released the update on PTB. The new killer is called the Trickster, while the new survivor is called Yun-Jin Lee. In addition, there are several other new features, such as group privacy settings and chat filters. We still don’t know when this update will arrive on active servers. Dead By Daylight PTB 2021 – Resources
- Added a new Killer – The Trickster
- Added a new survivor – Yun-Jin Lee
- Added a setting to change the party’s privacy

Happy
The Blight
- Adjusted first-person animations and camera position to get taller
- He reworked collision detection for his power. It should now be consistent with the basic attack obstruction and no longer result in sliding across multiple surfaces.
The Wraith
- Increased your camouflaged movement speed
- Decreased movement speed when unveiling
- Reduced the movement speed bonuses of the Windstorm addon to compensate for the above speed changes
- Removed movement speed penalties without hiding the Windstorm addons
Accessibility
- Colorblind modes have been added and can be accessed through the Options menu.
Benefits
- Decisive Strike – Now deactivates when performing certain actions that are not part of the killer’s evasion
HUD
- Increased the visibility and fill size of the negative status effect timer.
- Adjustments made to the player’s status timer bar to be more accurate and added back to sparkles to indicate when the timer bar is paused or requires attention.
- Improved performance.
Menus
- Updated the accept and cancel buttons on requests from friends and groups to have a greater visual difference.

Bug fixes
- Fixed a flaw in the initial interaction screen.
- Fixed a bug in the Play as Killer lobby that could occur when repeatedly holding the Ready button to cancel the search.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Assassins from falling on chairs in Ormond’s cottage.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when using Victor to attack a survivor when he leaves the test.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Victor to get stuck in the hills exclusive to the Red Forest maps.
- Fixed an issue that caused the infected VFX behind the survivor icon to not be fully completed when the Survivor was affected by the broken status effect.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Survivors to remain upright until moving when dropped from a Deep Injury status.
- Fixed an issue that caused Assassins and Survivors to be seen floating in certain spots on the hills on Asylum maps.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Survivor’s health bar to no longer flash when the timer was paused.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Convict punishment sound effect to continue playing, even if no tracks were left behind.
- Fixed an issue that caused Survivor not to remain on the ground after the death status animation occurred
- Fixed an issue that could cause players to appear within a collision (therefore not being able to move) when clicking on the Dead Dawg Saloon map
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the repair of a generator on the side of the lamppost in Grim Pantry
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the Survivor’s health bars from being visually accurate (the bar appeared empty before the Survivor died).
- Fixed an issue that caused the item icon on the ground to overlap the progress bar when equipped with specific items (only if the game’s HUD scale was 85% or less).
Change only:
- Fixed an issue where selecting an Archive kinematics briefly reproduced some frames from the last kinematics previously viewed.
- Fixed a crash that can occur when holding the two buttons to switch between survivors in spectator mode.
Stadia only:
- Fixed an issue with UI prompts showing the wrong platform when using a keyboard and controller.
Known Issues
- Victor may be trapped in the basement hook and cannot attack survivors
- The nurse may become unable to perform any action after a Blink Grab
- Survivors do not generate Killer Instinct when interacting with the Demogorgon Portal
- Survivors will be trapped in the environment or float during some interactions
- Survivors do not look back smoothly when squatting near a wall or feature
- Hex: ruin does not automatically regress generators
- Projectiles go through pallets
- Oni’s sword ‘Yamaoka Blade’ seems to stretch erratically from a distance
- Ammo items in cabinets don’t appear unless Trickst
