The Houston Rockets could try to negotiate with Victor Oladipo, as some in the NBA think he will sign with the Miami Heat this off season.
Oladipo will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2020-21 season and is reportedly interested in coming to Miami.
“Some in the league think that Victor Oladipo may be a candidate to sign a contract with the Miami Heat during the next free agency period. Therefore, one must imagine that the Rockets will seek to move the All-Star twice.”

For Houston, which is currently undergoing reconstruction, downloading Oladipo for anything would be better than losing it to a free agency for nothing.
The Rockets acquired the Oladipo from Indiana Pacers in the deal that sent James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets.
Houston has struggled a lot lately, having lost 10 consecutive games and dropped to 11-20 this season.
Oladipo has been solid this year, averaging 19.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
If a candidate is willing to give up an asset to have Oladipo at the end of this season, the Rockets can take advantage of the offer.
The NBA’s negotiation deadline is March 25.
