If you have at least $ 1 million to spend on an exclusive stay on a private island, you can purchase a five-star resort in the Maldives for four nights.

A spokesman for The Nautilus Maldives confirmed to Fox News that his small island resort can be purchased for an initial fee of $ 250,000 per night. However, the terms and conditions listed on the “An Ultra-Luxe Island for You” page state that guests must stay for a minimum of four nights.

The unique opportunity is being offered in the light of the “change and uncertainty” that the travel industry is experiencing after almost a year since the pandemic was declared.

Guests who can afford to purchase a private island receive “definitive seclusion and exclusive use” from The Nautilus Maldives. They also receive a VIP reception at Velana International Airport with access to the private lounge, fast processing of travel documents and limo service that transfers guests to a seaplane.

The luxurious resort has 26 beach and sea houses and is located in Baa Atoll – an administrative division of the Maldives that has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations.

Each home comes with a temperature-controlled freshwater infinity pool and private decks, as well as full butler services.

Free inclusions offered to guests who book the entire resort include Wi-Fi access throughout the island, sparkling and still water on site and in restaurants, and a selection of fitness classes and daily laundry service for a maximum of four items .

Resorts and hotels in the Maldives have been open to visitors since July and August.

There have been just over 19,000 confirmed COVID-19 infections across the archipelago since March, according to the country’s Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, the U.S. has had more than 28.4 million infections, according to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard.
