The icy conditions on the Yellowstone River bridge led to a 30-car pileup just before noon on Saturday, the Montana Highway Patrol said.
No deaths were reported, but two people were seriously injured.

Part of Interstate 90 was closed as it took more than two hours for authorities to tow all the damaged cars away from the site.

One traveler said that when braking to prevent cars from stopping in front of him, a semi-truck crashed into his vehicle, she told the Billings Gazette.
“It was like bumper cars,” she said.
