New Mexico reports 14 new deaths, 659 additional cases of COVID-19

  • Man in his 80s in Bernalillo County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A woman in her 90s in Bernalillo County. The individual had underlying diseases and was a resident of Ravenna Assisted Living in Albuquerque.
  • A second woman in her 90s in Bernalillo County. The individual resided at the Princeton Place facility in Albuquerque.
  • A 90-year-old man from Bernalillo County.
  • A man in his fifties in the county of Doña Ana. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A 70-year-old man from Doña Ana County. The individual had underlying conditions.
  • A woman in her 60s from McKinley County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A woman in her 90s in Otero County.
  • A woman in her 60s in the county of San Juan.
  • A man in his 90s in Sierra County. The individual had underlying diseases and was a resident of the Sierra Health Care Center in Truth or Consequences.
  • A woman in her 70s from Valencia County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.
  • A man in his 90s from Valencia County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying diseases.

The death toll of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,685.

In addition to the deaths, the state reported 659 additional cases of COVID-19. As of Friday, New Mexico has reported a total of 184,736 cases.

  • 191 new cases among inmates from the New Mexico Department of Corrections at Lea County Correctional Center

KOB 4 determined that there was a positive result of 3.79% of the tests analyzed in the state’s Friday report.

The state reports that 226 people are being hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

As of Friday, there were 141,833 COVID-19 cases designated as having been recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
