Defensive discharge Jurrell Casey’s series with the Broncos ended after one season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports and PFT confirmed, through a league source, that the Broncos launched Casey. Casey was set to have more than $ 11.8 million against the cap and the team clears that space as a result of the move.
The Broncos sent Casey a choice in the seventh round for the Titans last March. He started the first three games of the season, but lost the rest of the year with a broken bicep.
Casey has made it to the Pro Bowl in each of his last five seasons with the Titans, so some team will likely be willing to bet on a rebound if he can show that he is healthy enough to play.
The Broncos also released cornerback AJ Bouye this month and the two moves opened up about $ 24 million in space for the team to use this offseason.
