After failing to eclipse 27 wins for three consecutive seasons, the Chicago Bulls currently stands 14-16 and very much on the Eastern Conference playoff scene as the middle of the season approaches quickly. This young Bulls team definitely has the potential to make it to the NBA playoffs this year, but there are many question marks surrounding Zach LaVine’s future with this organization.
He has been his best player for years and is finally getting the recognition he deserves, as he was elected an All-Star for the first time in his career. LaVine is currently averaging 28.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and is shooting 43.4% in the three-point range, making him an important commercial target for several teams around the league.
The frequency of NBA negotiation rumors involving Zach LaVine has been around since last season, and while the Bulls rejected all rumors, they definitely got an idea of what they could achieve by switching him. If LaVine is moved before the negotiation deadline, it could be the biggest deal this season outside of James Harden’s Brooklyn deal.
At the moment, Zach LaVine is among the top 10 in the league in scoring and ranks first among all league scorers in percentage of pitches. Highlighted in competitions of burying the rising star in the NBA, LaVine has the ability to be that All-Star talent that the Bulls have been losing for years, but it could end up in Denver at the right price.

After reaching the Western Conference finals last season, the departures of Jerami Grant and Miles Plumlee really affected this Denver team. They don’t look like the same team from a season ago and if they want to have any chance of making a deep playoff in a packed Western Conference again, they are going to need a superstar talent like LaVine.
