2021 Ford Explorer wins new failures of King Ranch

Ford is building King Ranch editions of its trucks two decades ago and the luxurious finish has been popular with customers. Now, according to an announcement on Wednesday, the Blue Oval is bringing the western-inspired luxury finish to the 2021 Explorer.

The results are very cool. The interior of Explorer King Ranch is covered with all the hand-sewn two-tone “Del Rio” leather you could wish for and also includes a real Sapele wood finish. The King Ranch also receives leather in places like the tops of the doors to increase the elegance.

Of course, there are also option packages available to increase comfort and convenience in King Ranch Explorer. Among them is the Premium Technology Pack which offers multi-contoured seats with massage functionality, a 10.1-inch portrait touch screen and a 14-speaker sound system from Bang & Olufsen.

King Ranch specific touches on the Explorer exterior include a painted mesh grill insert, 20 inch wheels with King Ranch center caps and chrome exhaust tips. There are many badges at King Ranch, so your neighbors will know exactly how hard you are playing.

The King Ranch is only available with the 365-horsepower 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Unlike previous Explorers, with King Ranch buyers have rear-wheel drive as standard with EcoBoost and four-wheel drive is an option. Buyers looking to tow things with their sophisticated new SUVs will be pleased to know that the King Ranch can pull 5,600 pounds with the optional tow package.

The 2021 Ford Explorer King Ranch will be available at dealerships this spring, with a starting price of $ 53,595 for RWD and $ 55,595 for AWD, both including Ford’s $ 1,245 destination fee.
