Warming up on the weekend with some possible showers

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – High pressure remains in control across the area today. After a cold start this morning in the 1940s, temperatures will rise to 70 degrees this afternoon with plenty of sunshine. A great day to go out and have fun! Thursday will be the same as today, the only difference is that we can see some more clouds in the afternoon. The maxims on Thursday will be in their 70s. A weak cold front will try to slide into the area on Friday. This will bring an increase in clouds and some showers. The maxims will be cooler, between the low and mid-60s, before warming up for the weekend. At the moment, we have a small chance of rain in this weekend’s forecast with highs in the mid-70s, perhaps. The lows for most forecast periods will be between 50 and 60 years.
