The GameStop CFO resigned because it is clear that

GameStop CFO Jim Bell has resigned and will leave the video game retailer forever on March 26. This is just over a month from now. GameStop also announced a “succession plan”, just in case it can’t immediately find someone suitable to accelerate the transformation of a shopping-based video game retailer into a post-pandemic future. We can only speculate on the reasons for his departure, but let’s just go out and say what everyone is thinking: PUMP!

It’s not like he has a disagreement with the company: “Mr. Bell’s resignation was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter related to the Company’s operations, policies or practices, including accounting principles and practices, ”writes GameStop in this SEC document.

What I want to know: did Tendieman come for Bell? Otherwise, he may still get a producer credit on GameStock’s numerous films, or a good deal for a book.
