James Wiseman and Kevon Looney practiced in New York on Monday afternoon. The two centers are scheduled to return to the Warriors on Tuesday against the Knicks. This has immediate rotation ramifications that Steve Kerr cannot avoid.
Looney is expected to resume his place on the starting lineup. Wiseman will receive at least one restriction in half, saving extra cutting time the better his performance is. The Warriors found small ball lineup combinations that work well with Draymond Green in the center. Juan Toscano-Anderson is part of some. But he is a candidate to be completely eliminated from rotation. Mychal Mulder too.
“We can’t play with 12 guys,” said Kerr. “So, I’m going to have to make some moves.”
