Pokémon GoThe next three months of in-game events will feature the addition of new Legendary Pokémon to the game.
Notably, the Therian Forms of the Forces of Nature, Tornadus, Landorus and Thundurus, will arrive in the game. Niantic noted that more Legendary Pokémon would be making their debut as well. We are likely to start seeing some Legendary Pokémon from the Kalos region, such as Xerneas and Yvetal, soon.
More Pokémon Mega Evolved will also make their debut this season, although no details have been given on which ones.
Different Pokémon will also appear in the different hemispheres as the seasons change. Most notably, players in the northern hemisphere will be able to find the spring version of Deerling, and players in the southern hemisphere will be able to find the autumn version.
The season will start on March 1st and will last until June 1st, with advantages such as the increase in XP obtained through five-star attacks. The last season focused on “celebration” and included different events each week focusing on the various regions of the Pokémon, increasing the spawn rates of Pokémon in the respective regions.
