The former president will attend the annual Conservative Political Conference on February 28 in Orlando, reports CNN.
“We also expect the 45th president to take over President Biden’s disastrous amnesty and border policies,” a source told the news network.
In his long-awaited speech, the ex-president must speak about the future of the Republican Party and the conservative movement.
In addition to Mr. Trump, the CPAC will also see the appearances of pro-Trump figures from the Republican Party, such as former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Trump has remained discreet since he stepped down on January 20, but ran a media campaign last week after the death of right-wing radio presenter Rush Limbaugh.
During a series of interviews in friendly vehicles such as Newsmax, OANN and Fox News, Trump talked about how well the 2024 polls seemed to him, without saying that he planned to run for president again.
“As far as ’24 is concerned, it’s too early to say, but I see a lot of great research out there, for sure,” Trump said on Newsmax when asked if he would look for a job.
He added: “Well, we have tremendous support, I won’t say yet, but we have tremendous support.
“I am looking at the numbers of the surveys that are high. Only I could be accused and my number would go up.
“The numbers are very good and very high, they are higher than before the election.”
Mr. Trump has spoken at the CPAC event several times and his appearance is expected to close this year’s event, which begins on February 25.
