Finding out where to buy refueling for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles remains a challenging task. Not only is the stock of the Xbox Series X low, but replenishments of the Xbox Series X have been slow this month so far.
However, we are still constantly checking all major U.S. retailers for replenishing the Xbox Series X and Series S on a daily basis. And we’ll flag any new inventory as we see it. So be sure to check out the links below and keep this page checked and updated to have the best chance of finding where to buy the Xbox Series X.
Where to buy Xbox Series X: replenish links and updates
Starting at 7:12 am Brasília time on February 21, Best Buy still has the Xbox Series S in stock for $ 299. It is the only retailer with stock of the new all-digital console. (Stock may vary by zip code / region).
However, the Xbox Series X remains sold out at all major retailers in the United States. Microsoft has warned that Xbox Series X inventory will be out of stock by June. In the meantime, you can check out the following retailers to see who may have an Xbox Series X restock.
If you want to get an edge, check out these Twitter accounts below for Xbox Series X restocking.
There is a good reason why new Microsoft consoles are coming off the shelves. In our review of the Xbox Series X, we gave the new system the main support for its incredible performance, fast load times and complete compatibility with previous versions of all generations of Xbox. And as we noted in our review of the Xbox Series S, the cheaper next-generation Xbox still offers many of the same great features for those with 1080p TVs.
With that in mind, check out the latest Xbox Series X inventory updates and tips for getting your new console from Microsoft below.

Where to buy Xbox Series X buying tips and resources
In addition to updating retailer websites, there are other online channels where you can check to see when a unit will be available.
On Twitter, we suggest following @ Wario64. The identifier is known for updating users on the latest offers and replenishing faster than anyone else on the platform.
Purchasing forums
Slickdeals, the online offer repository, has a forum topic dedicated to ordering an Xbox Series X through Microsoft. The topic is constantly updated, so skip to the last page and click update to get the latest information on when the units will be available.
PopFindr
PopFindr is a website that checks local retail stocks based on your postal code. For example, you can check your local Target stores in your area to see if any Xbox Series X is available. Please note that just because it appears in stock, it may be sold out when you arrive at the store.
It is also not a bad idea to open a Slickdeals account and set an offer alert for the “Xbox Series X”. You will receive an email alert when a new stock topic is replenished. But we found that sometimes Slickdeals does not send emails to users quickly enough. Therefore, it may be better to type “Xbox Series X” in the search bar and sort by new. Be willing to check in several times a day.
CheapAssGamer is a long-time video game offerings site that also has a forum topic dedicated to the Xbox Series X. At the time of writing, the topic is over 63 pages long and users are discussing where to find units.
Facebook and Reddit
Facebook can also be a good source of information. There are several groups of Xbox Series X fans who keep users up to date on where the latest updates are taking place. Feel free to join some of these groups.
And be sure to subscribe to the Xbox Series X subreddit. Of course, most of the page is dedicated to discussions and memes, but if a user notices a refueling, they will notify the community. For example, one user found Xbox Series X units in stock at his local Walmart, with others also discussing similar findings. Again, it appears that some Walmart locations may be holding units to sell on Cyber Monday.
Wholesalers
Another set of retailers to watch are subscription wholesalers, such as Costco, Sam’s Club and BJ’s Wholesale Club. Since it is necessary to have a paid account to access these wholesalers, there are usually fewer people jumping over each other to find a unit. If you don’t have a subscription to any of these retailers, ask a few friends or family.
Unfortunately, wholesalers tend to bundle new consoles with extra games or accessories. Therefore, you will probably have to pay more than the standard $ 500.
Check at significant times
Generally, retailers like to make inventory available at certain times. The time when new Xbox Series X shares are likely to be available is midnight Eastern Time on certain days. Check with all retailers and you might be lucky.
Other retailers prefer times like 7am ET, when customers wake up, while others will aim at noon to give everyone the best chance of finding a new Xbox Series X console.
If the units are out of stock online, it may be worth going to a physical location. You must bring your membership card or go with someone who is a member. And make sure you wear a face mask (over your nose), otherwise the salespeople will ask you to leave. If none are available at the store, at least you can go out with a $ 5 roast chicken.
Where to buy Xbox Series X: Avoid the money changers
One reason for the scarcity of shares in the Xbox Series X and S Series is due to the money changers snapping up large quantities of next-generation consoles in one large sweep and then selling them at exorbitant prices; we are accepting thousands of dollars for a $ 499 game console.
The VGC reported that a group of now-infamous PS5 scalper by the name of CrepChiefNotify managed to grab 1,000 Xbox Series X consoles as soon as they became available at British retailer Very. But in a twist of fate, Very canceled 1,000 pre-orders for the Xbox Series X, somewhat torpedoing the money changers’ efforts.
As frustrating as it can be to find an Xbox Series X or Series S, we suggest that you avoid buying a console from these money changers. Paying dearly for a console that doesn’t have a wide range of new Xbox Series X games is not an astute move in our opinion. If you can resist, Microsoft should have more Xbox Series X units to sell, as well as the promise of more exclusive games for the console.
