In the last episode of the ARN Podcast, Arn Anderson talked about the current WWE partnership with Latin music star Bad Bunny, who has appeared regularly on WWE television since The Royal Rumble.
Bad Bunny recently won the 24/7 championship in last week’s episode of RAW. Anderson mentioned the various celebrity appearances of the past and how difficult it is for wrestling fans to appreciate them when they don’t know who they are.
“I don’t know anything about Bad Bunny,” said Anderson. “If they are not big fans, what are they doing on our show? Wrestling fans are dedicated to a show of wrestling and wrestlers. They are not there to see Hollywood stars or anything like that. It’s an irritation for them when they don’t know who it is, if I don’t know who it is, I just watch their performance on the show and criticize for what it is.
“[Wrestling fans] get pissed off because it’s time to stop. The celebrities we had over the years had nothing to do with wrestling, you can see it for the fans. The fact is that there is a place called the rest of the world that is not America, and if he is a big star, there is probably a reason for that. “
Bad Bunny will perform on tonight’s episode of SNL.
