The FBI arrested a Pennsylvania police officer on Friday for allegedly attending the US Capitol riot on January 6, after a video appeared on his Facebook of him allegedly attacking and pushing police officers trying to protect the building.
Authorities said Joseph Fischer, a North Cornwall Township Police Department patrolman, “boasted” on Facebook about the violation of the Capitol building during a joint session of Congress to certify the election results for President Biden, in a event that left five people, including a police capitol, dead.

The nearly 3-minute video posted online allegedly shows Fischer walking among a crowd of violent protesters. The video was accompanied by the caption: “I arrived inside … I received pepper balls and pepper spray. The police line had 4 depths … I reached level two …”, according to the collection documents analyzed by Fox News.
At one point in the video, the recorder can be heard shouting “Charge!”
Towards the end of the recording, the recorder begins attacking a line of police officers while appearing to shout “Hold the Line” and “Motherf —– s”, according to documents.
Investigators said Fischer’s Facebook account did not really identify his real name, but a subpoena issued to the social media company was returned with information that validates his true identity.

Fischer reportedly posted on his account that “entry into the Capital was necessary to send a message that we, the people, have the real power”.
Fischer also admitted to an unidentified person via a private message on Facebook that he was confronted by his police chief in his department about his involvement in the riot, according to documents.
“I told him if this is the price I have to pay to express my freedom and the freedoms I was born with and therefore I was withdrawn, then it must be the price,” Fischer would have written in the messages. “I told him I don’t regret it and I give it zero s — s.”
