Sam Burns enters the third round of the 2021 Genesis Invitational with a five-stroke lead in a stacked field after starting his effort at the Riviera Country Club with a 64-66, running out of bogey in his second 18 holes. However, Moving Day is a different animal on the PGA Tour, and there are many top golfers chasing Burns when the third round action begins on Saturday.
Dustin Johnson is one of four golfers sitting five behind Burns, while Jordan Spieth leads a trio under 6 while Spieth seeks to continue his tremendous game with the approaching Masters. A lot can change when the weekend starts on the Riviera, and these two are among a dozen players who can take advantage if Burns falters at some point.
