Twigs then replied, “I know you’re asking for love, but like, I’m just going to take a stand and say I’m not going to answer that question anymore because the question really should be for the attacker: ‘Why are you keeping someone as a hostage with abuse? ‘ “
She continued, “People say, ‘Oh, it couldn’t have been that bad, because she would have left.’ And it’s like, no, because it was so bad, I couldn’t go out. “

Last week, LaBeouf’s legal team said he “generally and specifically denies any and all allegations contained in the [Barnett]complaint and denies that [Barnett] has the right to any reparation or indemnity of any kind ”.
The actor’s lawyers went on to say in legal documents that Barnett’s allegations of sexual assault should be dismissed because “none of the alleged acts were based on sex and / or the conduct was not sexual” and denied that the musician suffered any injuries or damages .
The document, obtained by People, allegedly asks Barnett to pay Shia LaBeouf’s court costs.
Speaking in a new interview with ELLEBarnett also detailed his previous relationship and accused LaBeouf of adopting “calculated, systematic, complicated and labyrinthine” tactics to control it.
