Activision unveiled all new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season Two.
The second season, which begins on February 25, adds four new operators, six new weapons, the new (and leaked) Zombies experience dubbed Outbreak, four multiplayer maps, new multiplayer modes, new prestige levels and new points of interest for the war zone. The trailer for the second season is below:
The four new operators are Naga (Warsaw Pact), which is available during the launch week, Samantha Maxis (NATO), who arrives at the time, Terrell Wolf (NATO), also at the time, and Karla Rivas (NATO). Maxis, Wolf and Rivas are premium DLC.

Here are the six new weapons: the FARA 83 assault Rifle (Tier 15 of the Season Two Battle Pass); the LC10 SMG (Layer 31); Machete (in season), E-Tool, a military-style three-ply shovel (in season), Shadow Hunter R1 beast (in season); and finally the sniper ZRG 20mm (in season).
The Machete, E-Tool, R1 Shadowhunter and ZRG 20mm are available through related challenges, or you can purchase a relevant project when you are in the store.

Now in Zombies. Outbreak is described as the next chapter in Dark Aether history and takes Requiem to the Ural Mountains. It is a cooperative experience for up to four players on a large-scale map, with vehicles included. Here is the official synopsis:
“Continuing the Dark Aether story, Outbreak takes place in huge game spaces along the Ural Mountains, filled with new enemies, team objectives, player rewards and information to discover on foot, in vehicles or by jumping platforms. hunting down elite enemies using a satellite tracker, escorting a Rover that detects dimensional portals or resisting zombies in a confined Dark Aether zone, Requiem agents will need to complete these investigations before they can Exfilar … or risk entering a Dark portal Aether to a new region for even more rewards. “

The four new multiplayer maps are Apocalypse (6v6), which takes place in the Lao jungle, Golova (Fireteam), which takes place in the Ural Plains, Mansion (2v2, 3v3), which takes place in Havana, Cuba, at the Hefe Mansion the campaign’s End of the Line mission, and finally Miami Strike (6v6).
Miami Strike is interesting because it is a smaller daytime version of the original map of Miami, which is considered one of the worst maps in the game. Hopefully, the small size and better visibility will improve things.

New multiplayer modes include the favorite Call of Duty Gun Game, Stockpile (6v6), which is a mix of Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint, and Hardpoint multi-team, a new 10 squad of four mode that takes place on the largest Cold War black maps Oops. Multiplayer mode also receives the new result from the Machine of Death. This is the portable minigun from the original Black Ops.

Now in Warzone. Activision said Verdansk will have a number of points of interest to discover or explore. This advances Warzone’s story.
There is mention of the cargo tanker Vodianoy, which players spotted off the coast of Rebirth Island recently. This ship had disappeared at sea, but is now heading for the port of Verdansk. “It is recommended that operators in the vicinity be extremely careful,” says the official synopsis, “as the ship is carrying unknown cargo and its crew cannot be contacted.”

And there is something “starting to resonate” in the depths of Verdansk, although these new locations have not yet been detailed. I imagine that players will sniff them out right after the second season’s release.
Black Ops Cold War receives a continuous update on February 23 and Warzone receives a continuous update on February 24 to start the second season. The second season will be released between 9:00 pm and 11:00 pm Pacific time on February 24th. It’s 5:00 am and 7:00 am UK time on February 25th.
