Earlier today, the Monster Hunter Rise edition of the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller was finally made available in the United States, so we knew that the special edition of the Nintendo Switch console based on the game would not be far behind. That turned out to be the case, as console pre-orders are now available here on GameStop for $ 369.99. We also expect it to fall here at Best Buy and here at Amazon anytime.
The Monster Hunter Rise Nintendo Switch console features a striking design based on the art of the main monster, Magnamalo. It comes with a digital code for the Deluxe Edition of the Monster Hunter Rise, which explains the additional price of $ 69.99 over a standard switch. That said, if you just want the game, you can pre-order it here at Best Buy with an exclusive SteelBook bonus.

The Deluxe Edition of Monster Hunter Rise includes the following extras:
- Hunter layered armor set “Kamurai”
- Palamute layered piece of armor “Shuriken Necklace”
- Palico in layers of armor “Fish Collar”
- Gestures (4 hops)
- Samurai pose set
- Kabuki face painting
- Hairstyle “Izuchi Tail”
Monster Hunter Rise is scheduled to be released worldwide on March 26, exclusively on Nintendo Switch. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here. An official description of the game can be found below.
“Monster Hunter Rise is an action RPG that transports players to colorful Kamura Village, a brand new serene mountain location that attracts visitors with its unique culture and innovative hunting technologies. After hunters equip their armor and select one of various type weapons, new hunting grounds await, including ancient sanctuary ruins and more. As players defeat monsters and progress through the game, items from fallen enemies can be used to create unique weapons and armor that will enhance their chances of success and survival in the future Hunters can face these challenges alone or with up to three other players in the local or cooperative online game.
Evolving the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Rise will provide players with an inventive set of new tools to track and defeat threatening monsters. For the first time in a Monster Hunter game, wired fighting actions can be performed using a “Wirebug” standing or in the air, adding a whole new level of aerial maneuverability to hunting and attack strategies. The game will also debut new hunting partners called Palamutes, custom and buildable “Canyne” companions that will provide players with a new set of attack options, while “Felyne” Palicoes will return as supporting characters for actions such as healing. “
