Updated AEW lineup for Revolution 2021

AEW’s first pay-per-view of 2021 – Revolution – is scheduled for March 7 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Only a few matches were confirmed for this week’s episode of Dynamite, but at the end of the show, fans officially knew a good deal of the card. Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley will headline the show in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch, a condition Omega personally chose for his rematch at the AEW World Championship. This will be the first time that AEW has had such a fight since launching in 2019, and the stipulation was introduced to the hardcore wrestling scene through the Japanese promotion Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling in the 90s.

Young Bucks has successfully maintained its tag titles against Santana and Ortiz during the show, and will now face two other Inner Circle members, Chris Jericho and MJF. The Bucks have shown last month that they have problems with The Good Brothers, which could lead to pay-per-view betrayal.

Hangman Page followed up on last week’s contract signing, revealing that he will face Matt Hardy on pay-per-view. The winner keeps all the loser’s profits in the first quarter of 2021, much to the chagrin of “Big Money Matt”.

Finally, Cody Rhodes announced that there will be a six-man ladder match during the show dubbed Face of the Revolution. The winner wins a TNT Championship match, and the first three contestants were confirmed as Rhodes, Scorpio Sky and a returning Penta El Zero Miedo.
