Members of the South Carolina House passed a bill that prohibits nearly all abortions in the state. The House voted 79-35 in favor of the “Fetal Heartbeat and Abortion Protection Act in South Carolina” The measure was passed after almost all Democratic members of the caucus left the chamber in protest.
