According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glover reportedly left his previous creative partnership with FX to sign a multi-year, eight-digit contract with Amazon.

What’s more, the deal allegedly includes an entire Amazon Prime Video channel dedicated to Glover’s works, as well as works curated by other artists.

Stephen Glover – Donald’s brother, who also writes and produces Atlanta alongside him – would also have signed a general agreement with Amazon.
But wait, there’s more: Malia Obama would have been hired as part of the program writer’s office to Hive, a TV series in early development and the storyline that THR describes as “[revolving] around a figure similar to Beyoncé. “

For those who care about the fate of Atlanta, don’t worry: THR also reports that the show’s third and fourth seasons begin filming in March, and that the deal with Amazon has no effect on the show.
