These statements came after McConnell attacked Trump at the conclusion of the impeachment trial, saying the former president was “practically and morally” responsible for the January 6 encirclement of the Capitol.

At Newsmax, Trump also targeted Biden for saying in a city hall on Tuesday that his predecessor had not done enough to distribute the COVID-19 vaccines effectively. Biden for a moment suggested that there was no vaccine when he took office.
